    These two photographs mean a great deal to me: I took them in my homeland, near Blois in the Loiret-Chère. The light there, the quiet lanes and the soft Loire Valley terrain gave the scenes their character — a mix of grace and grit that suits the XJS perfectly. The car’s classic silhouette against the rural backdrop, and the traces of gravel and dust on her flanks, tell a story of companionship, confidence, and the joy of taking an elegant machine off the beaten path
